A Delicious Valentines Cocktail

Move aside Oysters, love heart cookies and chocolate, there is a new romantic in town, Jellyfish Gin! Get ready to make a refreshing cocktail this Valentines Day. We have come up with a simple Gin cocktail that uses Jellyfish Gin as a delicious base, with a romantic twist.

ROMANCE FACTS:

Love. We have incorporated Rosemary into this drink, the herb of love. This lusty herb that has a long romantic history dating back centuries. In the past, Rosemary was frequently used as a head dress for weddings and other occasions of love and commitment.

Passion. Whilst passionfruit, sadly, isn’t the food of passion, it does have “love-ly” benefits, it gives body calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and folate - all of which contribute to healthy heartbeats.


Love Struck is easy to create at home and are sure to make this Valentines day special.

Love Struck

Do you remember Passoã and Lemonade? Or a Porn Star Martini from the 90s? If you liked these combination’s (don’t pretend you didn’t), you’re going to LOVE this.

A grown up take on a classic passion fruit base.

Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 25ml Jellyfish Gin

  • 25ml Passoã Passion Fruit Liqueur

  • 10ml cranberry juice

  • 5ml lemon juice (Use half a lemon and save some slices for a garnish)

  • 5 ml simple syrup

  • Rosemary

  • Top with Prosecco

  • Garnish with Figs

Instructions

Fill a shaker with ice. Crush a 1/2 branch of Rosemary in the bottom of the shaker (using a muddler if you have one, the back of a spoon if you don’t). Combine all ingredients except prosecco with the ice and shake. Strain and top with prosecco. Add Figs (the fruit of LURRRRRVVVEEE), lemon and rosemary to serve.
